9:30 a.m. CEO Round Table Network Security Discussion: Goal is to come away with ideas of what we can be doing better together as an R&E community in this space. Come prepared to provide a brief statement of your organization’s plan around the following areas (5-10 minutes each):

  • Security Strategies
    • How do you define your network’s edge, i.e. what is the scope of your security responsibility? How do you communicate expectations to members with respect to network security?
    • At a high level, what are your goals to address network backbone security risks?
    • At a high level, what is your strategy to address network backbone security risks?
    • How are you building organizational and budget capacity to address security risks?
    • What are your communities asking you to do for them in this space?
    • What are you doing for your members to education and share best practices?
