Community Internet Services (CIS)

Who We Are

Barry Bryson (UETN) and Michael Lambert (3ROX), Co-Chairs: Since 2002, this Quilt project team screens and qualifies CIS providers that meet the requirements of our Quilt members and their Authorized Quilt Buyers through a Quilt public RFP process. The group also collects and disseminates information to The Quilt community regarding shifts in the CIS marketplace and potential impact on R&E networks.

Meeting Schedule

Meets the second Thursday of the month from 12:00-1:00 pm ET (NOTE: The CIS RFP Cycle takes place during even years and changes the call schedule to the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 12:00-1:00 pm ET).
