VMware and Related Services Convenience Pricing Program – Member Area

The 2019 VMware and Related Services Convenience RFP is complete. Out of this publicly bid process, Carahsoft was chosen to be this partner.

On May 1, 2019, The Quilt and Carahsoft executed the new MSA for VMware and Related Services. New pricing is in effect and we continue with the prior discount level and aggregation numbers for VMware. Five competitively bid related services (HPE, Palo Alto Networks, Dell Technologies, AWS and Veeam) have been included in the new master service agreement.

One of the benefits of this negotiated convenience pricing agreement with a VMware Distribution Partner is that it provides Quilt members the ability to deliver the benefits of the VMware solution to their member institutions utilizing the robust infrastructure of the regional networks and with the technical expertise and support of the regional network staff. Other opportunities are available to Authorized Quilt Buyers to purchase at a discounted rate off of published educational pricing directly with the VMware Distribution Partner.
