GIS

An ongoing discussion about how we all use/want to use/would like to use GIS in our organizations.
Group Host: Jason Russell (Merit)
Meets: Monthly on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 2-3pm Eastern

NetSuite

An ongoing discussion about best practices that includes “how we use it” demos and “how we tie other things to it” sessions for the benefit of learning from one another.

Meets: Monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 1-2pm Eastern

Project Management

An ongoing discussion on how we all manage projects in our organizations.
Group Host: Jason Russell (Merit)
Meets: Monthly on the last Thursday of the month from 3-4pm Eastern

Wireless Technologies

A discussion group with the goal of establishing an active wireless technologies community of practice within our Quilt and extended REN community. The initial focus of this group:

• to grow our community’s collective knowledge and expertise in wireless technologies
• collect/distribute helpful resources
• document R&E wireless use cases as a reference tool

The expectation is that these conversations will be more technical in nature to talk about specific use cases, share vendor/equipment specs and functionality, as well as share deployment and operational experiences.
