Discussion will include best practices, lessons learned and future plans to expand this effort. Presenters: Lauren Rotman, ESnet (moderator) David Skinner, NERSC Craig Tull, Berkeley Lab Computing Research Division Rune Stromsness, Berkeley Lab Information Technology Session Feedback |
||
1:50–2:40pm | Case Study: Defining and Understanding Campus Policies associated with Integrating a Science DMZ into the Campus Environment This panel will discuss the policy implications associated with fully integrating a Science DMZ into the campus environment. As campuses integrate the Science DMZ into their campus network environment, they must also integrate it into their campus policies. Implications can include defining appropriate security policies, identifying who has access to the infrastructure, what resources are connected, and who and how to support the new infrastructure. This session will provide management, research and campus network engineer perspectives through both best practices and lessons learned.
