Airport

The closest airport to Newport is T.F. Green airport (PVD)in Providence (http://www.pvdairport.com/).  Please note that in addition to providing major carrier service, T.F. Green is also a Southwest Airlines hub, so I would encourage everyone to check their fares as they tend to be the cheapest flights into Providence.

Shuttle

Cozy Cab provides shuttle service on the hour from PVD to Newport and will drop-off and pick-up at the event hotel.  The price is $20 each way and a reservation for this service is required.  1-800-846-1502

Transportation

If you are planning to rent a car for the meeting, we would appreciate it if you would be willing to ride share with other participants.  Carpoolers should plan to meet in the hotel lobby at 8:00 am each morning to transport to the Gooseberry Beach Club meeting site. 

Directions

From the hotel to Gooseberry Beach:

Start out going SOUTHWEST on WAVE AVE toward PURGATORY RD/RI-138A.

Follow Memorial Boulevard to Bellevue Avenue. Turn left onto Bellevue Avenue and then proceed south on Bellevue Avenue to its end.  As you approach the end, you will maneuver two sharp right turns. As you round the first, you will begin to see the ocean in front of you. After the second sharp right, take the first left onto Ocean Avenue. Follow Ocean Avenue for approximately one mile to Gooseberry Beach which will be on your left.

Complimentary breakfast is served by the hotel at its sister property, the Comfort Inn, across the street.  Breakfast is located on the second floor and the hours are 7:00 am - 10:00 am.
