MCNC is seeking a Vice President, NCREN Community Support to be the lead advocate for customers on MCNC’s executive team and lead MCNC's Customer Support (CS) Division. This includes serving as advocate for Universities, K12 schools, Community Colleges, libraries, healthcare and governments.

This senior leadership position has ultimate responsibility for the successful management of all MCNC customer relationships, developing new business, growing more business with existing customers, and providing market input to Advanced Services Development (ASD), Engineering and Operations about customer needs and desires.

Position creates and manages the budgets for several projects, and is accountable for management reporting for each large customer group at the macro level (roll ups of all other projects under each customer group). This position will work in the Network Operations team to maintain a highly available statewide network. Key responsibilities include provisioning, configuring, monitoring and troubleshooting connectivity for institutions connected to the NCREN IP network. The positions track directly to the mission of providing advanced networking services to North Carolina’s K-20 community.

Regular work schedule will be on 2nd shift and rotate weekends. Will be required to work off hours shift. Travel to institutions required.
