Hosted by Florida LambdaRail (FLR) and the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, The Quilt's Spring Member Meeting and Business Models Workshop are being held in Miami, Florida at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School or Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS) March 25-27, 2008.   

We plan to start off the week's events with the RON Services and Pricing Model Workshop on March 25th running from 8:30 am to 5:00 p.m.  Our member meeting will begin at 8:30 am on March 26th and run through approximately 2:00 p.m. on March 27th.   

The RON Business Model Workshop will focus on RON and State Network Services and Pricing Models.  This workshop is a result from the work The Quilt and MIDnet have done to collect RON case studies as well as the on-going financial data collection activities happening within the StateNets-Quilt Financial Focus Group.  This is planned to be an interactive session and we ask each participate to come prepared to discuss their own organization's services and pricing models informally with other participants during  breakout sessions in the day's program.  The target audience for this workshop is Directors of Regional and State Networks and financial representatives from their organization tasked with the pricing and accounting of service offerings.
